The original building was opened in December 1967 as the changing pavilion located on the Lorne Front Beach Foreshore with 180° degree views of Louttit Bay and Bass Strait.

With a light and modern feel, the room features Ironbark window frames that make a perfect picture of the ocean; the room is tastefully decorated to capture the blissful essence of Lorne. Folding glass doors open out to the courtyard area, which also offers stunning views over Louttit Bay.
